How to prevent bag snatching?
Nowadays, bag snatching has become a major peoblem in Auckland, especially in South Auckland. Thieves always focus on single woman or the older. Wallet and mobil phone are their main concerns. It became a major focus of a dedicated police unit this year, following two incidents where women were injured while trying to protect their bags. One was in Manukau and the other was in Botany.
So, how to prevent bag snacthing and protect ourselves?
First of all, do not carry a large amount of cash with you, pun it in the bank.
Secondly, when you go out for shopping, close the bag and carry the bag with you all the time, do not leave it on a trolley or other places.
Thirdly, try to avoid using luxious bags such as LV and GUCCI.
Fourthly, better go out with your friends and try to go home before 10:00pm.
Finally, carpark area seems to be the most dangerous place. So, when you enter into this area, look around, make sure no one is following behind you, then go into the car quickly and lock your car immediately.

New zealand's current crime situation
New zealand used to be a paradise for a lot of people as it is pretty, peaceful and safe. However, the situation is changing due to current crime situation. There are all kinds of crime such as dishonesty offence, drug offences, violent crime, propety damage and abuse, sexual offence and so on. The unfortunate situation is the figure is rising every year.
A woman was charge by police for killing a baby. The baby is only 3 years old and he is very lovely. His parents are very sad because of the death. Nobody know the reason why the lady conduct such an action, however, I hope that she will be punished and at the same time, parent should pay more attention to protect their children so that this kind of case will not happen again.
All kinds of people are likely to conduct illegally, such as man and woman, teenage, adults and old people. Not only those with low education level, but also those with high education rate, such as teachers. Teachers have received high education and they are the educator, if they set up bad or wrong samples, let's imagin what our world will be?
Besides those crimes conducted by adults, by observation, teenages' crime figure has been rising in recent years. High percentage crime is very harmful to the country and soceity, because it will affect the coutry's reputation in the world. As we all know, New Zealad is famous as a peaceful country, education and tourism are one of the main industries. But if it is not safe enough, people abroad will not come here to study and travel, also domestic resedence will try to immigrate to other countries, which are really bad for the country's short-term and long-term benefits.
Act MP David Garrett pointed out in his recent speaking that it is quite crucial to improve this situation. If the situation remains, this country will become worse and worse to live in. Hope that all people can work together to fight against crime and establish a peaceful and safe place for all of us to live in.
